TNETIC, Inc. (“TNETIC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information obtained through our website at tnetic.com and through our products: AI Benta, i-Attend, and Event-Attendance Pro. By using any of these products or our website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to all TNETIC products and services, including:

AI Benta AI Sales Agent

An AI-powered sales agent that engages leads and handles customer conversations across messaging platforms including Instagram, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS, and web chat. AI Benta processes conversation data, lead information, and interaction history on behalf of our business clients.

i-Attend Cloud & Mobile

A cloud-based attendance management platform for continuing professional development (CPD/CEU) programs, schools, Greek-letter organizations, houses of worship, conferences, and any events requiring registration, attendance tracking, surveys, certificates, and name badges.

Event-Attendance Pro Desktop App

A desktop application for tracking attendance at seminars, workshops, and training events using RFID or barcode scanners. This product operates locally on your device and may process attendee data for OSHA compliance documentation and reporting.

Note: When TNETIC processes personal information on behalf of a business client (e.g., an organization using i-Attend to track attendee data), TNETIC acts as a data processor. The client organization is the data controller and is responsible for ensuring lawful processing of their attendees’ data.

We do not link your personal information with anonymous usage data using persistent identifiers. For example, we do not tie your email address to cookie-based browsing behavior.

  • Directly from you — when you register for an account, complete a sign-up or contact form, purchase a product or service, or communicate with us by email or phone.
  • Through our products — when event organizers or administrators configure and use i-Attend or Event-Attendance Pro to manage attendee data on your behalf.
  • Through AI Benta conversations — when end users interact with an AI Benta-powered chat agent deployed by one of our business clients.
  • Automatically — through cookies, web beacons, and analytics tools as you navigate our website or use our cloud-based products.
  • From third parties — from messaging platforms (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, SMS) when AI Benta is integrated with those services, subject to those platforms’ own terms and data-sharing agreements.

  • Service delivery — to operate, maintain, and provide the features and functionality of our products and website.
  • Account management — to create and manage user accounts, process registrations, and authenticate users.
  • Attendance & compliance records — to generate accurate attendance reports, certificates of completion, CEU/CPD documentation, and OSHA-compliant records on behalf of our client organizations.
  • AI sales interactions — to power AI Benta’s lead qualification, conversation management, and sales automation workflows for our business clients.
  • Payment processing — to process transactions securely via our payment gateway partners.
  • Customer support — to respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical assistance.
  • Product improvement — to analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, and develop new features.
  • Marketing communications — to send you information about our products and services, with your consent and subject to your right to opt out at any time.
  • Security & fraud prevention — to detect, investigate, and prevent unauthorized access or fraudulent activity.
  • Legal compliance — to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — We share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate our business (e.g., payment processors, hosting providers, analytics services, email delivery services). These parties are contractually required to keep your information confidential and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
  • Business clients (i-Attend / Event-Attendance Pro) — If you are an event attendee, your attendance data is accessible to the organization that deployed i-Attend or Event-Attendance Pro to manage their event. That organization controls how your data is used within their event management workflow.
  • Messaging platforms (AI Benta) — AI Benta integrates with third-party messaging platforms (Instagram, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS providers). Information exchanged through these channels is subject to those platforms’ own privacy policies in addition to ours.
  • Affiliates and resellers — We may share your information with affiliated entities we control, or with resellers who have already shared your information with us in connection with a product or service transaction.
  • Business transfers — If TNETIC is acquired, merges with another company, or sells a line of business, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of such changes.
  • Legal requirements — We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or government request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
We reserve the right to share non-personally identifiable, aggregated data (such as usage statistics) without restriction, as this data cannot be used to identify you.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies on our website and products.

  • Essential cookies — Required for the website and product functionality, such as maintaining your login session and remembering your preferences.

TNETIC stores and processes all personal information on servers located in the United States. If you access our products from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the US.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, or other regions with data transfer restrictions: by using our products, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to the United States. Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your information during such transfers.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide you with our products and services
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations (e.g., OSHA compliance records)
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements

Attendance records and certificates generated through i-Attend or Event-Attendance Pro are retained in accordance with the requirements of the client organization and applicable professional licensing regulations. When you request deletion of your account or data, we will remove your information within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required by law.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion — Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Restriction — Request that we restrict our processing of your information in certain circumstances.

i-Attend & Event-Attendance Pro attendees: If you are an attendee whose data was collected by an organization using our products, please contact that organization directly to exercise your rights. TNETIC acts as a data processor in that context and is bound by the instructions of the data controller (the client organization).

European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR applies to our processing of your personal information. We process your personal data under one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance — Processing necessary to provide the product or service you have requested.
  • Legitimate interests — Processing for purposes such as improving our products, preventing fraud, and protecting our legal rights, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent — Where you have provided explicit consent, such as for marketing communications.
  • Legal obligation — Processing required to comply with applicable law.

In addition to the rights listed in Section 10, EEA and UK residents have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). In the EU, you may contact your local Data Protection Authority (DPA).

Where TNETIC processes personal data as a data processor on behalf of a client (e.g., an organization using i-Attend), GDPR requests should be directed to that client organization as the data controller.

Section 12

Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Our products are designed for use by businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has submitted personal information through one of our products or website, please contact us immediately at hello@tnetic.com. We will promptly remove such information from our active records upon verification.

For school clients using i-Attend to track student attendance, it is the responsibility of the school organization (as data controller) to ensure appropriate parental consent and COPPA/FERPA compliance for student data.

Email Communications & Opt-Out

If you provide us with your email address, you may receive messages from us including:

  • Transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts, password resets) — required for service delivery and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
  • Product updates and feature announcements
  • Marketing emails about TNETIC products and services

You may opt out of non-transactional emails at any time by:

  • Clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any marketing email
  • Contacting us at hello@tnetic.com with your opt-out request

Similarly, if you have provided your phone number, you may receive informational pre-recorded messages. You may opt out by following the instructions in the message or by contacting us directly.

Please note that electronic communications sent through our system are treated as confidential in accordance with the Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986 (18 U.S.C. §§ 2701–2711), except where disclosure is permitted or required by law.
